Hi. My name is Joel A. Clegg,  a North Carolina native and multidisciplinary artist, creative director, and founder of The Joel Clegg Collection. Now based in California, I am consistenlty reflcting on an ongoing journey of discovery—embracing buried talents, exploring new creative disciplines, and allowing curiosity to lead the way.

For me, art is both a playground and a form of confession. Creativity has always felt natural, even when vulnerability did not. For years, many of my ideas lived quietly in my mind—protected, refined, and unseen. Today, I am choosing to let them breathe.

Through painting, photography, writing, creative experiences, and thoughtful design, I view each work as an invitation to slow down, notice beauty, and engage with the stories hidden within everyday moments. My creative practice is an exploration of process over perfection, embracing smudges, uneven lines, and unexpected turns not as mistakes, but as opportunities for growth.

Rooted in faith, I am learning to create with open hands—surrendering control, letting go of the need for perfection, and trusting God to guide both the work and the artist behind it. Each collection becomes an act of obedience, curiosity, and transformation, revealing the parts of herself that once remained hidden.

Through The Joel Clegg Collection, I will continue to explore what it means to live as a multifaceted creator, believing that creativity has the power to inspire connection, cultivate wonder, and remind others that becoming is a lifelong work of art.
